If you have paper, pens and scissors then you are a crafter…

I am a firm believer that all you need to be a crafter is paper, pens and a pair of scissors.
Unfortunately if you are like me then these 3 basic components grow very quickly to fill a room.
Who knew there were so many different types of paper, pens and scissors to collect, never mind stamps, dies and ink pads 😂.

Joking aside, you can create so much with the basics.

One of the great things about being part of the STAMPIN’ UP!®️ family is that they cater for all types of creative individuals.

From those of us who want to make a quick project using a kit

Those who want to stamp and colour

To the more adventuresome who want to use stamps, dies, ink and more.

No matter what your ability there is something about paper crafting that appeals to all ages. Is it that with a few snips even the youngest can create a snowflake from a single piece of paper, or a more experienced individual can make a whole winter scene.

Why do people paper craft?

My mother used to paper craft to spend time with me and my friends, sharing ideas around seasonal crafting and helping out when it came to school projects. I have fond memories of making a paper mache volcano sat around the family dining table.

My Mother started my crafting journey, but it was during my time in Girl Guiding first as a Brownie, Guide and Ranger and then as a leader of my own group later in life.

I have friends who only craft when they need to make a card for family and others who craft as a release from the stresses of life today.

Why do you paper craft? It would be great to find out.
